I'm so into the festive mood. :D The trip to Chinatown made my day. It was so fun, interesting andd last but not least, a time for relaxing. It has been a hectic week for me. Thanks to the wonderful people who had given me so much homework and TESTS! Appreciate it so much. Let me begin my
CHEENATOWN story. It all begins here, in the town of townsville. Eh! Nonono but in the school of Hai Sing Catholic School, Class 3e4....
Everyone were suppose to go to Chinatown as a mini excursion. After that we were told that we need to write a DESCRIPTIVE compo on it! ROARSS! *everyone sighs. Its like "there is no free lunch in the world". So, our teacher Mr.S. wanted us to make it a excursion cum class outing on Monday. However my group and I didn't want to go on mon as it would be crowded and we have to go to school the next day. In the end, we decided to go yesterday, Friday.
As usual, YL was late and I have to wait for her for at least 7 hours! Ok, no I meant 7 minutes. Her history: she was never early when I was suppose to meet her. ha! Take note people! Always arrange to meet her at least 1/2 hour early. By the way, her famous excuse is... She missed the bus >.< Met, Tricia and Grace in the MRT. As we entered the wrong train compartment, we did not see each other. Until, they decided to walk over. "SIMEI", XF comes in. So we took the train to Chinatown.
"CHINATOWN", We alighted and went in search of the exits. As we exited at the wrong exit, we had to walk back. Finally, we exit-ed at the right one. All of them took out their cameras and started taking photos. *Read carefully, ALL except me. :( Pathetic. Anyways, they are kind enough to send me the photos after the trip.
We walked and walked and walked but we still couldn't find Smith street. The street where all the delicious food could be found. In the end, we ended up walking to Chinatown point again! Feeling hungry, we decided to eat at MAC instead. After for about half and hour, we planned to continue our 'journey'. Took some photos there before heading back to where we were suppose to be. And again and AGAIN! we had to walk through the same underpass as the one when we exited the first time. T
hird time.
When we reached there, we approached a clobber on where Smith street. Don't judge a book by its cover, clobber knows the way too :D As we walk, as we walk, we reach our destination. We can see a lot of people. We were around lucky Chinatown there when we saw large lanterns of Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. Took photos with it. Later we took some retard photos with our umbrellas. Went to Lucky Chinatown to pee. Tricia, XF and YL took photos using the mirror of the escalator. As you know, there are people and there was this guy who pose to peace sign at us. ACBC sia! Out of lucky chinatown, there was a commotion. Want to know what? HA! Too bad, I also don't know. Later, as we were about to walk into another street, a 'office man' accidentally step onto a so called gangster leg. Another commotion!
Oh yes! we saw three mannequins doing different facial expression. Thanks to my great idea, I suggest that we imitate it. Its a joke! Dang! Its funny. At that, we also tried on the cap with the long piggy tail. Unluckily, only XF, tricia and me are able to try due to the selfish shop owner. We also took photos with the calligraphies (the friendly shopowner helped us with the phototaking) and her friend or whatsoever, was saying "yi zhang zhao pian, yi kuai, ni men wu ke ren, wu kuai qian." I infer that this guy is money-minded! LOL.At another stall, there was a old man wearing the cai shen ye costume. Eagerly, we asked him if we could take photo with him. Sadly, he rejected us flatly. After much persuasion from us, we finally got to take a photo with him. Another KPO said, " yi zhang zhao pian $5 because today raining, no business" wah piang! This kind of LOGICAL thinking. HA.
We continued walking and ended outside a temple. At there, there were lots of trishaw. All of us took turns taking photos. Two at a time. Finally, as we were about to walk back to the MRT station, we bumped into a familiar street : SMITH STREET! hohoho! Walking towards the empty table, a lady in
PINK went to 'chop' the table. With a who cares attitude, Trica, YL and I sat down too. heh. It works you know? All of them except me ate satays for supper. >.<
